Bingay: Connecting our community and raising funds for ACON since 1999

WHAT IS BINGAY?

Bingay is gay/drag bingo which means there’s fabulous tunes, weird rules and penalties, outrageous antics, hilarious repartee, deliciously lewd bingo calls, and prizes that range from the silly and camp to great theatre tickets and restaurant vouchers.

Dropping balls since 1999, Bingay takes over The Beresford on the second Thursday of each month, with each event set to a fabulously flamboyant theme.

Bingay is hosted by Sydney drag star Charisma Belle and Bingay's long-time barrel babe Naomi Palmer. Together, the duo deliver a rambunctious and unforgettable night of bingo and balls.

One of gay Sydney's much-loved community events, Bingay is also a fundraiser for ACON, NSW leading HIV prevention and LGBTQ health organisation.

AMAZING! HOW DOES IT WORK?

Bingay works just like regular bingo but camper, sassier and whole lot more fun. Participants play along to hilarious and sometimes naughty calls. When you have all the numbers, you yell out 'BINGAY' and, if your numbers are right, collect some fabulous prizes. If your numbers are incorrect, or if you don't shout 'BINGAY', a cheeky penalty awaits.
